About my family:
Mark and I have been happily married since 1989 and have two sons and a daughter-in-love. We are preparing to begin the best job of all, grand parenting! Our oldest son is an alumni of CHCS and Northern Michigan University in Marquette. He is a systems engineer at Munson Hospital in Traverse City. He is married to our beloved kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Denslow. Our youngest son is also an alumni of CHCS and is a nursing student at Grand Valley State University.
We have been greatly blessed to have our children attend CHCS. CHCS has been a Godsend in helping us raise our children God’s way. Our sons had a solid academic foundation, but most importantly, a spiritual foundation that has helped them to be godly men who are impacting their world for Christ. In return, it is my joy and privilege to be in partnership with parents to teach godly values and principles to our young students, so that other families may have the same great experience and success we have had at CHCS.
Life changing verses:
There are several verses that reaffirm our decision as parents about Christian education: Deut. 11:18-23; Eph 6:4; Mark 10:14b, 16; and Proverbs 22:6.
One of my life verses is Deut. 6:5, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
