B.A. Degree from Olivet Nazarene University
30+ Years of Teaching Experience
A teacher has been described as being like a potter who molds the potential of their students, into gifts that can bless God and all humanity as well. Our greatest example of this “molder teacher” is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
My passion for making a difference through teaching led me to pursue a B.A Degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. I began my teaching journey in 1983 and have had the privilege of working with the Cadillac Heritage Christian family since 1993. My teaching positions have included Band, General Music, Preschool and currently Secondary Math, History and Bible. My greatest joy as a teacher is when I get to share an “aha” moment with a student.
God has blessed my husband and I with four children, three of which are married and have godly spouses. We have also served as the Pastoral Family for Cadillac First Church of the Nazarene since 1993.
Joshua 1:9 tells us to be “strong and courageous for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” What a joy and comfort to know that daily I get to walk with my Lord and there is nothing I cannot handle because the Almighty God has promised to be with me and go before me.
It is a great privilege to serve in the capacity of a teacher at Cadillac Heritage Christian School. All of my children have attended as well and the strong foundations and friendships developed here are still evident today in their lives.
