Hello, My name is Sharon Denslow and I am the Preschool director/teacher and the Young 5’s teacher at Cadillac Heritage Christian School. Let me share with you a little about myself. I have my Child Development degree and I’m a state certified preschool director. I have 14 years teaching experience with preschool aged children. I enjoy singing in the praise band at church and I’m a member of the Beulah Land Quartet. Golfing, hiking, and reading are also some pleasurable activities I enjoy.
About my family:
I have been happily married for 22 years and have two wonderful sons. My oldest son is a graduate of CHCS and is a junior at Northern Michigan University in Marquette in the Computer Science program. My youngest son is a junior at CHCS. We have been blessed to have our children attend this school. CHCS has been a Godsend to help my husband and me as we raise our children God’s way. Our sons have a solid academic foundation, but most importantly, a spiritual foundation that will help them throughout their life. In return, it is my joy and privilege to be in partnership with parents to teach Godly values and principles to our young students, so that other families may have the same great experience and success we have had at CHCS.
Life changing verses:
There are several verses that reaffirm our decision as parents about Christian education: Deut. 11:18-23; Eph 6:4; Mark 10:14b, 16; and Proverbs 22:6.
One of my life verses is Deut. 6:5, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”
