Reminder: Young Fives and Kindergarten Vision Screening

All children entering Young Fives or Kindergarten are to have a vision screening before school starts. This can be done free of charge at the local Health Department. Simply call them for an appointment. You can also have this done at your family eye doctor’s office. If you haven’t already done this, and cannot get in before school starts, we just ask that you get it done in the first couple weeks of school. 2015-2016 Sports Season Information

Hello, I hope you are looking forward to a fantastic year of athletics for the 2015-2015 school year! Sports Seasons Fall: boys’ soccer (grades 6-12) and girls’ volleyball (grades 4-5; 6-8; 9-12) Winter: boys’ basketball (grades 4-6; 6-8; 9-12) and girls’ basketball (grades 4-6; 7-8) Spring: girls’ soccer (grades 6-12) For spring, we are interested in adding high school track if a coach becomes available. Physical Forms: Athletes at every grade level need to have an athletic physical completed and on record with Mrs. Koster before starting practice. Blank forms are available in the school office. Athletic Fees: The athletic fee per athlete per season is as follows: $25 grades 4-6, $35 grades 7-8, and $50 grades 9-12. May 29, 2015 Covenant Life Church 7:00 p.m. This is the last concert of the season. The students and I are so excited to show off the talent they have formed and polished this school year. You don’t want to miss it! ALSO, 7th-12th uniforms need to be turned in by the end of the year in the manner explained in the checklist that the students have in their possession. 7th-12th will be wearing black pants and mid-calf length or longer black skirts, along with their tux shirts, bowties and cummerbunds for the spring concert (as requested by students). End of the year awards ceremonies

Elementary awards will be given out on Wednesday, June 10th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. for Young Fives through 2nd grade in the Patriot’s Room. 3rd-6th grade awards will begin at approximately 9:30 a.m. Elementary students are dismissed following their awards.
